Almond Butter Jelly Oatmeal 

“it’s like a smack of almond butter goodness to your mouth!”


Tired of your typical boring adult breakfast fare? Longing for the days when cereal came with prizes? Well, try this delicious recipe to liven up breakfast and make you feel like a kid without the empty carbs.

Almond Butter Jelly Oatmeal

  • 2 servings of oatmeal prepared as directed (I used Trader Joe’s Quick Cooking Steelcut Oats)
  • 2 T almond butter (I used TJ’s Almond Butter with RoastedFlax)
  • 1 T jam or jelly (Polaner All-Fruit with Fiber will be 0 points)
  • fresh fruit (optional- I matched my strawberry jam with fresh strawberries)
  1. Cook oatmeal as directed. Steel cut oatmeal typically has a 1:3 water ratio (1/2 C oats, 1 1/2 C water.)
  2. Stir in almond butter. Don’t overmix.
  3. Stir in jam again careful not to overmix.
  4. Stir in fresh fruit.
  5. EAT! MMM!

Servings:2   Per Serving: 5 Points (WW PointsPlus 6)

I always make a double batch because it’s sooo good, I will eat it when I’m really craving something sweet and salty. It hits the spot!
